XL Hybrids Stand Tall at Work Truck Show
Towering above many other exhibitors at the Work Truck Show, literally, was XL Hybrids.
The company is a pioneering developer of hybrid electric powertrains that, according to XL, “deliver a 25 percent increase in miles per gallon and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.”
With its hybrid conversion technology, XL Hybrids has been recognized as one of the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company in 2014 and supports customers such as The Coca-Cola Company and FedEx.
The technology is compatible with new and existing Class 2 to 4 commercial fleet vehicles and can be installed in less than six hours. It works seamlessly in the background with zero impact on fleet operations or service, and no driver training or infrastructure requirements.
