Tire Selling Comes to the Tablet from Xtime and Dealer Tire Partnership

checking tireDealer Tire and Xtime have announced a new partnership in which Dealer Tire’s digital selling solution and inventory information is now accessible through Xtime’s tablet-based service lane solution, Check-In 7.

The integration places Dealer Tire’s eServices tire catalogs into Xtime’s Check-In 7 via a tire selling interface designed specifically to blend seamlessly with the Xtime design.

As a result, service advisors can present customers with vehicle-specific tire recommendations and pricing, check inventory for availability and enable an immediate purchase.

Dealers retain the customer’s business at the point where consumers often first take their vehicles to the aftermarket, while consumers get a transparent, convenient method for maintaining their vehicles.

Service advisors no longer have to leave the customer and return to their desks to retrieve tire information because it’s at their fingertips.

They can sell tires during the check-in and walk-around inspection processes and capture approval signatures when customers are ready to buy.
