Werner Enterprises to Host Driver Appreciation Week

Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN), a leading transportation and logistics provider, will host a weeklong celebration that coincides with National Truck Driver Appreciation Week at its global headquarters in Omaha, Neb., Sept. 15-21.

Werner has more than 9,300 professional drivers, including more than 1,500 who have achieved 1 million safe driving miles or more. In addition to serving meals and sponsoring giveaways at all 12 terminal locations and various dedicated sites, Werner will host a driver recognition ceremony Sept. 20 in Omaha to honor the most recent drivers to achieve 2 million or more safe driving miles.
